Job Description :
This Administrative Assistant position will provide administrative support to the I/DD Eastern Region Training Department and perform the following general responsibilities: 
  1. Provide coverage to the Training Hotline and update as needed
  2. Provide ongoing assistance to staff regarding the training process and training information.
  3. and disseminate training reminders and updates via electronic and paper mailings
  4. Enter and track all training documentation and data.
  5. Maintain accurate database.
  6. Create and maintain staff specific training files.
  7.  File all training paperwork in a timely manner.
  8. Create and disseminate weekly and monthly training reports to staff, as specified by the Staff Development Coordinator and/or Assistant Director of Training
  9. Disseminate training verification forms to staff when received (CPR cards, certificates of completion, etc)
  10. Assist the Staff Development Coordinators in the maintenance of training curriculum including all training materials
  11. Ensure the availability of all training and office materials and complete purchasing orders when needed
  12. Maintain open communication with all staff and departments regarding scheduling, training needs, and program needs
  13. Assist the Assistant Director of Training and the Director of training in dissemination of information and scheduling of meetings.
  14. Assist in licensure preparation through the distribution and maintenance of training tracking forms.
  15. Attend and/or participate in training, conference calls , webinars, and meetings as requested.
  16. Knowledge of and adherence to the NHS mission and NHS policy and procedure including but not limited to core values, standards of professional behavior, HIPPA, and Integrity
  17. May perform other related duties as required or assigned
Job Requirements :
Qualified Candidates will have the following minimum requirements:
  1. High School Diploma / GED with
  2. At least one (1) year experience
  3. excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
  4. Computer proficiency is Required
  5. Ability to work in a team environment
